The saying appears in n1 (YouTube, 2014-03-13) attributed to Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi n1. A similar attribution is found in n2 (2015) which cites a rubai by Mevlna n2. Page n3 presents the wording without attribution, indicating a dispute over the authorship n3. No page cites an earlier source, so the earliest known appearance is n1; thus earliest date and earliest author are not given. Because the only evidence of authorship consists of later online attributions and a source questioning that attribution, the credit to Mevlana is not substantiated by earlier evidence, leading to a contested verdict (credible evidence conflicts) n1 n2 n3.

Earliest known: Persian quatrain of uncertain authorship, credited to Mevlana, Ebu Said Ebu'l-Hayr and other Sufi poets.

Come, come, whatever you are, come again. A 2009 paper by Yakup Şafak finds it is not reliably Mevlana's and its author is unknown. Most quatrains credited to Ebu Said are by later poets (TDV encyclopedia), so his claim is weak too.
